On the 25th of June 2025, Skills Zone proudly hosted the final dissemination event of the FEM-Up Project at the Meeting Place in Marsa, Malta.
The event opened with Maryrose and Dagmara, who presented the project’s objectives, activities, and platforms, offering an overview of what has been achieved throughout the initiative.
A key highlight of the event was welcoming Mirhea Vella, winner of the national FEM-Up contest and Malta’s representative at the FEM-Up Award Ceremony in Slovenia. Mirhea pitched her business idea on the international stage and secured 2nd place. She shared her inspiring journey, reflecting on how FEM-Up supported her personal development and entrepreneurial growth. Her story exemplifies how empowering women through innovation and support can lead to real impact.
Another memorable moment was seeing Natalie O. Orjuela, one of the project’s participants, take the stage to present her brand-new business: ZETA Skincare. This cosmetic company is dedicated to natural, high-quality skincare products, with a unique focus on the benefits of tallow, which is a nutrient-rich fat renowned for its skin-nourishing and moisturising properties. Her first product, a tallow-based facial cream, was unveiled during the event, marking the start of an exciting entrepreneurial journey.
The event was a celebration of innovation, empowerment, and collaboration. We are proud of our participants and grateful to everyone who joined us in supporting female entrepreneurship.
